Fe is able to Sing to different creatures using different languages. Singing also activates Special Plants.

Languages[]
Fe learns different languages throughout the game. Depending on what language is selected, Fe’s detail coloring is different. Fe is only able to sing to adult animals if they know their language.
Fe
[]
The Fe language is the language the Fe sing. Its color is white, and it is the language Fe starts with. It can’t activate special plants, though it can make small mushrooms subtly glow. Pushing hard on the sing button makes a howl noise, and pushing softer makes a more babbly baby-like noise.
Bird
[]
The Bird language is what the Owls and Mama Bird sing. Its color is green, and it allows Fe to access the Bomb Seeds. Fe learns it from Mama Bird after helping get her eggs back. Fe is able to sing to the Owls once learning it, and can then ride on their backs. Depending on how hard the sing button is pushed, there are different chirping sounds.
Deer

The Deer Language is the language the Deer sing. Its color is orange, and it allows Fe to activate the Golden Orchids. Fe learns it from the Giant Deer after climbing onto their head. Fe makes deer sounds when the sing button is pushed down hard, and slightly different deer sounds when its pushed lightly.
Lizard[]
The Lizard language is the language that the Lizzyboyes and Snake Snakes sing. Its color is pink, and it allows Fe to activate Spring Flowers. Fe learns it from the Giant Snake after bringing Lizzyboyes to the end of Snake Shore.
Woarf[]
The Woarf language is the language the Woarfs sing. Its color is blue, and it lets Fe activate Blue Mushrooms. Fe learns it from the Big Woarf after bringing the four younger Woarf Pups to it. Fe howls when using the sing ability.
Bumpalloon[]
The Bumpalloon language is the language the Forest Keepers and Bumpalloons speak. It makes the Bumpalloons become more visible and lets you bounce through them.
Other Languages[]
Some languages are spoken by other creatures but can't be learned by Fe.
Pinecone[]
The Pinecone language is spoken by the Pinecones. Two Pinecone Cubs use this language to break webs made by The Silent Ones.
Fish[]
The Fish language is spoken by the Sea Serpents. When the water is drained from the Swamp, one can see the symbol for the Fish language when attempting to sing to the Sea Serpents on the dry swamp ground.
Uses[]
The Sing ability had quite a few uses, with the main one being to sing to creatures.
Sing to Creatures[]
Fe is able to sing to creatures to befriend them. Fe is only able to sing to adult creatures if they can sing their language, but younger creatures like Lizzyboyes and Pinecone Cubs can be befriended with any language.
Call to the Guiding Bird[]
Later on, Fe can befriend the Guiding Bird. For a little bit, it will help them get Bomb Seeds. It also shows them where to go next. To call the Guiding Bird, sing loudly, and then sing to the bird again.
Activate Special Plants[]
Fe is able to activate Special Plants by singing by them with the right language.
Uncover Hieroglyphics[]
Fe can uncover Hieroglyphics by singing by them.
